Keepsake Cushion

A keepsake cushion is a heartfelt way to preserve the clothing of a loved one. Thoughtfully handcrafted, each cushion transforms cherished garments into a beautiful keepsake that offers comfort and a lasting connection to special memories.

Whether you're remembering a loved one, celebrating a life milestone, or keeping a piece of someone close, these cushions provide a meaningful way to hold on to what matters most.

Each cushion measures approximately 50cm x 50cm and includes a zip closure and cushion insert. The front features a patchwork design created using 8 items of clothing. The back is finished with soft fleece in a colour of your choice. For a double-sided patchwork cushion, 10–15 items of clothing are required.

These memory cushions can be displayed on their own or paired with one of our matching keepsake blankets as a tribute piece for your home.

Cushion covers are removable and can be machine washed on a gentle cycle (30–40°C). We recommend air drying only—please do not tumble dry.

Clothing Guidelines

We work with both adult and children’s clothing to create memory cushions. For the best results:

Children’s Clothing:
We can use items such as baby grows, vests, rompers, trousers, jumpers, dresses, and swimwear.

Adult Clothing:
We recommend 3–4 garments for a balanced patchwork design, though a cushion can also be made using a single shirt or jumper for a simpler look.

Please note:
We cannot use hand-knitted items or heavy denim, as these materials may not sew or sit well within the cushion structure.
