Keepsake Memory Lions

Lovingly handcrafted from your cherished clothing, these memory lions are a beautiful way to honour and preserve the special moments in life—whether from the early days with your little one or in memory of a loved one who has passed. Each lion is carefully made with love in every stitch, creating a timeless keepsake full of meaning and comfort.

Each lion sits approximately 30cm tall and is created using:

• 7–10 baby grows (or similar baby clothing), or
• 1–2 adult garments
  

Personalisation Options:

• Personalised Feet: Add up to two words per foot using heat-pressed vinyl lettering (names/dates).
• Birth Weight Option: Choose to have your lion weighted to match your baby’s birth weight, up to a maximum of 7lbs 7ozs

Please include your chosen wording and/or birth weight in the Message to Seller box at checkout. If you have any questions or special requests, feel free to get in touch before ordering.

Please do include your name in your parcel, I will then contact you to advise and keep you updated with the progression of your lion.

Turnaround & Delivery:

Current turnaround times will be updated on the website weekly. You'll receive an approximate delivery date via email once your clothing items have arrived.

Please note: turnaround time begins when your items are received, not when your order is placed.

Clothing Guidance & Requests:

I do my best to incorporate all the meaningful details from your garments. If you have specific design requests or certain pieces you'd like featured, please include a note in your parcel.  Full, unused garments will be returned with your finished lion. Fabric scraps will be discarded unless you request them back.

Not suitable:

• Very thin or delicate fabrics
• Hand-knitted items
• Very thick materials like leather

Care & Safety Information

Memory lions are made as keepsakes, not toys. Due to their handcrafted nature, they are not CE tested and should not be given to children under 14. Please display and handle with care.

Especially for weighted lions, always support them with both hands. Do not lift by the head or limbs, and avoid letting limbs dangle.

Cleaning: Spot clean only using a damp cloth. Do not wash by hand or in a machine.

Materials & Construction

• Lions are reinforced with a high-quality woven cotton interfacing to prevent stretching and strengthen fabrics.
• Filled with 100% fire-retardant polyester stuffing (BS5852 tested).
• Weighted versions contain recycled steel pieces safely enclosed inside.

Refunds & Returns

Due to the personalised, one-of-a-kind nature of each memory lion, returns and refunds are not available once work has started. Any items that are cut as part of the process cannot be returned.

Images of completed lions may be shared on our website or social media. If you'd prefer your memory lion to remain private, please let me know at the time of ordering.
